One person was killed in an wreck involving an 18-wheeler in Houston. The driver of an 18-wheeler was stopped at a red light on FM 1960 when the driver of a Honda struck the back of the semi trailer.
The driver of the Honda was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene after sustaining “catastrophic injuries.” Speed reportedly played a factor in the incident. A witness told investigators that the car may have been street racing at the time of the crash, but police have not found any evidence to support this.
Police have not made an official report, and have not released the names of the parties involved.
