A crash took place Thursday evening on southbouth MoPac near US Highway 183 that resulted in three people being hurt. One of those people received life-threatening injuries.
News reports stated that the wreck occurred when an 18-wheeler truck crashed head-on into a pickup truck.
Police did not indicate whether either of the drivers involved was at fault for the crash, or whether anybody received citations.
The service road where the wreck took place was closed down for emergency crews to clean up the scene.
The names of those involved have not been released at this time.
