3 people were injured and 2 seriously injured in a multi-car crash in Tuscon, Arizona on Tuesday morning. It all started when a semi-truck failed to timely stop on I-10 near Ruthrauff Road and collided into another vehicle. This caused a chain-reaction, involving 7 total vehicles, including 2 18 wheelers.
1 individual died at the scene. 3 people were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and unfortunately 2 of those have passed away. One of the 18-wheelers had flipped on its side in the wreck. I-10 was completely shut down due to the wreck.
It has not yet been reported what exactly caused the truck’s failure to stop.
