Dennis Wagner and Diane Wagner Killed in West Palm Beach 18-Wheeler Crash

Two residents of Canal Point, Florida were killed in a wreck with an 18-wheeler in Palm Beach, Florida this Saturday afternoon.

According to a report by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Dennis Wagner, 65, and Diane Blackwell Wagner, 63, were driving their Kia Sportage SUV southbound on the Beeline Highway when the crash occurred.

A witness stated that their SUV passed another vehicle at a high speed, and then ran into the back of an 18-wheeler in a violent collision. The SUV then became stuck to the rear of the trailer, which then traveled about 100 feet before coming to a rest.

The driver of the truck, Ray Chatman, was not injured in the crash. His truck was carrying a full load of liquid oxygen. The Sheriff’s Office stated that no charges were filed related to the crash.

Traffic was backed up for over an hour on the Beeline Highway.
