Irving Police Seek Assistance In Fatal Hit And Run Car Accident

Irving police are looking for a late model Dodge Challenger, like the one pictured below, in its ongoing investigation of a fatal hit and run this past Sunday. Mr. Franciso Reyes was killed after being struck from behind by a Challenger while walking on the service road for Highway 183 in Irving, Texas. The driver of the car that struck him failed to stop and render aid, leaving Mr. Reyes on the road with severe, and ultimately fatal, injuries. Police do not have a license plate, and identifying the type of the car was based entirely on debris at the scene of the fatal pedestrian car wreck. The car at issue will likely have damage to the front driver side of the car if it is not yet repaired.
