A man in his 30s was killed Saturday nigh after crashing his vehicle into the side of an 18-wheeler truck in San Antonio.
The incident took place at about 10 p.m. near the 1100 block of West Kirk street. Police stated that an 18-wheeler had started to turn into a lot, effectively blocking traffic on the road. While turning, a pickup truck drove into the trailer portion of the truck.
The driver, still unidentified but reportedly in his 30s, died at the scene. Firefighters helped to remove the pickup truck from underneath the 18-wheeler’s trailer.
No injuries were reported as to the driver of the large truck.
