One person was killed and three injured this morning following a car accident in Huntersville, North Carolina. The wreck involved three vehicles at the intersection of Sam Furr Road and Westmoreland Road in Huntersville.
One of those involved in the crash, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people suffered minor injuries, and a minor was in critical condition and was transported via ambulance to Carolinas Medical Center.
Police have closed off the area for an investigation. At this time no details have been released as to what caused the crash.
