Truck driver Orlando Martinez, 32, of Avondale, Arizona, was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck when his big rig truck flipped over.
According to reports, Martinez was driving eastbound on US Highway 36 in Linn County, Arizona, when he struck the side of an embankment and flipped his truck, which eventually set on fire. The wreck occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on Sunday. Martinez was later pronounced dead at about 12 p.m.
The highway patrol stated that the driver was not using a safety advice. No direct cause for the wreck has been determined at this point, as the investigation is ongoing.
