Robert O’Brien, David Johnson Injured in Car-Truck Collision

Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash between a car and a pickup truck in Dodge County, Minnesota

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Robert O’Brien was heading west in a pickup truck on County Road 6, while David Johnson was driving his car north on County Road. Johnson reportedly drove through a stop sign, crashing into O’Brien’s pickup truck in the intersection at about 2:30 p.m.

The force of the impact caused the pickup to roll over into the ditch and then back into the road. O’Brien and Linda Fjerstad, his passenger, were sent to St. Mary’s Emergency Room to be treated for their non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson was treated at the scene and then transported to the hospital for treatment.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, charges are pending against Johnson for his failure to stop at the intersection.
