Tina Quinn killed in 18-Wheeler Accident

Tina Quinn, 48, was killed earlier this week when her car ran head-on into an 18-wheeler near Amarillo, Texas. Two others were injured as a result of the accident.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that an 18-wheeler driven by Bobby Mason was heading westbound on Interstate 40 through Carson County. At this time Ms. Quinn was headed eastbound in the opposite direction. Quinn’s car reportedly crossed over the median of the road and into the opposite lane right into the truck. DPS reported that she was not wearing her seatbelt and was killed on impact.

Mason and another passenger in the truck, Oneta Mason, were also injured, and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Bobby Mason was treated and released, but Oneta Mason remained in the hospital in critical condition.

Due to the wreckage from the scene, parts of the interstate were shut down for several hours.
