Two 18-Wheelers Collide in Hunterdon County, New Jersey

A wreck took place Wednesday morning in Hunterdon County, New Jersey when two 18-wheelers collided on Interstate 78 near Route 173.

Details on how the accident occurred are unclear at this time, but one of the trailers on the 18-wheelers was ripped open on the side, spilling the cargo of cardboard and paper bags across the highway.

It was not reported whether either of the drivers were injured in the wreck. It does not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Traffic was backed up for nearly 8 miles on the interstate, with delays approaching an hour and a half.
