William Greenlee, 37, from Mississippi, was injured in a crash with an 18-wheeler in the Beaumont area Tuesday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 10:50 p.m. on Interstate 10.
Reports stated that an 18-wheeler truck driven by Sylvester Willingham had started to slow down for traffic on the westbound side of the road when Greenlee’s Toyota pickup truck rear-ended the trailer. Willingham was not injured in the wreck.
Greenlee was reportedly transported to nearby St. Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
